I admit it…
My blog is a total mess!!
It started awhile back when the theme I was using
was no longer compatible with the most recent
version of WordPress…
And snowballed from there to me throwing my hands
up in frustration and quit using it altogether
Because what was facing me was a labor-intensive project
that I just didn’t have the time to tackle
Not that I COULDN’T do it…
Just that there are other things I need to be doing instead.
Enter my search for a “Blog Angel” *insert HUGE smile here*
Someone who will have this thing whipped into shape in no time!
So why am I posting this?
Two reasons:
#1 – My blog will be “under construction” for awhile and I
really detest those yellow and black signs that folks put up,
but more importantly…
#2 – There are times when it’s actually cheaper to outsource
a task than it is for you to do it yourself.
No, I don’t recommend outsourcing everything. But there are
instances when it’s the smart choice.
Outsourcing a project frees you up to attend to those things
that need you to be “hands on”
Think about it in real world terms for a minute…
You can take your car for an oil change and give the man around
20 bucks, or you can buy 5 quarts of motor oil, the oil filter, make
sure you have all the tools necessary on hand and spend your
time doing it yourself.
The real issue is figuring out how much your time is worth and
where it would be better spent.
Me??
I’m outsourcing this blog project to someone I trust so I can
take care of other things that require my personal attention.
