Are You Getting Nowhere Fast
In Your Home Business Because Of
Common Mistakes That KILL Conversions?
You spend days…even WEEKS…putting all
the pieces together and you FINALLY have it
A brand new capture page!!
You promote it via email, social media and
perhaps even do some advertising, and…
NOTHING!!
But you see Nellie Newbie and Victor Veteran
crushing it
You KNOW that your product/service/opportunity
blows theirs out of the water and you just
don’t get it.
So you go back to the drawing board and try
again.
This time, you get a few views, maybe even a
couple clicks, but NO conversions!!
However you’re determined, so you try again
And again…
And you’re STILL not getting good results!
You look for answers and it’s not long before
you feel as though you’re on a hamster wheel…
constantly running but getting NOWHERE, fast.
Now real FRUSTRATION can start to set in
Perhaps you begin to DOUBT your offer, or worse…
YOURSELF!!!!
Sound familiar??
It’s probably NOT your product, service or
your company’s opportunity
And it’s pretty likely not YOU
(you wouldn’t be reading this if it were!)
If you’re like I used to be, you might be making
one or more of a few common mistakes that can
literally KILL your conversions
But if nobody ever told you what NOT to do
IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT!
So take a deep breath…
Seriously, it’s gonna be OK.
In the next couple posts, I’m going to take you
by the hand and walk you through what you need
to know to create a capture page WITHOUT
making those fatal mistakes.
THE BASICS
I would be remiss if we didn’t cover a couple
basic concepts to start.
Your main objective should be to build your
list of email subscribers. Even a small list
of a few hundred people can (and do) produce
very nice incomes.
When folks know who you are…and trust you…
they are more likely to listen to what you have
to say AND to purchase from you.
Your list is your BIGGEST asset.
That said, any capture page has only ONE
purpose…to compel the visitor to enter the
information you’re asking for.
Most often, that’s an email address, perhaps
their name and sometimes a phone number and/or
mailing address.
Sure, you hope it leads to a sale or a recruit,
but keep in mind that when someone is on your
list, you can present stuff to them again and
again over time (think for a moment how many
offers you’ve received from Magnetic Sponsoring,
for example).
The longer you keep them with you, the better the
chance that they will join your team or purchase
a product you offer.
Just keep in mind…before you even start putting
it together…your capture page has one and ONLY
ONE objective.
To “capture” your visitor’s contact information.
Sidebar: You’ll need a way to communicate/follow up
with them as well. This can be done by mail, phone
or email…or a combination of these methods. The
choice is yours.
Most folks who market on the Internet have an
autoresponder in place which allows them to
communicate with their entire list at once.
There are several to choose from, such as AWeber,
IContact, GetResponse and others. I personally use
(and recommend) AWeber. They’ve been around for a
very long time, the interface is simple to use and
their customer service ROCKS. (they’re not expensive
either…making them a good choice for home business
owners)
OK…
Next time we’ll look at what you absolutely DON’T
want to do when creating your next capture page.
