An SEO Tip For YouTube…
I just had an “aha” moment that I had to
share with you…
I was watching one of the exclusive trainings
that members of Elite Marketing Pro have access
to and my friend, Nick Haubner, was talking about
SEO tips for ranking on YouTube.
Now who doesn’t want to have their videos rank
better so they come up higher in the search
So because I know what a smart cookie Nick is,
I figured I might pick up a couple of SEO Tips
in this training.
But Nick said something that made me say to
myself, “YOU’RE KIDDING! I never realized that!!”
Here’s the thing…
I’ve never believed I should do what I wouldn’t
want done in my marketing, if that makes sense.
For example…if it’s something that would annoy
me, it’s not something that I would put out there.
Or if I don’t like it and wouldn’t respond to it
myself, I won’t put that into my marketing mix.
Well, like most people, I go to YouTube to watch
videos, not to read articles, right?
So even though I’ve heard several other very
successful marketers in the home business space
talk about putting 250 to 500 word articles in
the description of their YouTube video, it wasn’t
something I was inclined to do because, again…
I go to YouTube to watch videos, not read articles.
But in this training, Nick said something that
made me realize how silly this notion was.
The article is NOT for people who are coming to
view your video…
The article is for the Google bots to scroll through
for key words, etc. to rank your video higher!!
A HUGE light bulb moment, and guess who’s gonna be
putting articles under her videos now?
